Dr. Mark Buehnerkemper has been a practicing optometrist in a small Northern California town since November of 1996. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry and graduated with distinction in 1996. Prior to entering optometry school, Dr. Mark completed a degree in physics and worked in the aerospace industry as a materials scientist in the electro-optical field. He was lead engineer in developing several automated production and material measurement systems, which included software design and programming.
The original eChart Acuity Software was released in 1997, when there were few options other than the traditional projector, and computer hardware was barely up to the task required by eye doctors in the exam room. Hundreds have been delivered since the first release. The latest release continues to evolve the software as advancements in hardware and software allow more features and stability.
Andrew C. Nester has over 45 years of experience in business management, business consulting, senior marketing and sales, and engineering positions with various high technology and Internet related companies.
Andrew has served as President/CEO of two Wireless Broadband Solution
Providers the first which set up and operated one of the first
commercial wireless, broadband, Internet service provider operation in
the U.S in 1996. In addition, he was president of two software
companies. One provided office automation software, systems, and support
to the medical practice management and legal practice management
markets, the other served the Funded Health Care Market.
As an independent consultant, Andrew has helped companies develop, improve and turn around various aspects of their businesses including operations, financial management, business planning, marketing and sales programs, restructuring and facilitated strategic alliances including acquisitions and funding.
Andrew has a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering. Additionally,
he received the acclaimed Xerox sales training and has completed various
marketing and management courses at university extensions. He served in
the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged as a 2nd Class Radarman.
